Meet the Team

Caitlin “Cat” Campbell has a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Marketing from the University of Colorado, is an IRS Enrolled Agent and is certified as a Financial Coach through Crown Financial Ministries and Dave Ramsey’s Lampo Group. She has been coaching clients through their financial challenges and opportunities since 2003.

Cat is active in her church and also volunteers with Dave Ramsey to coordinate his Financial Peace University and Legacy Journey classes.

Debbie VanDoren chose to make Colorado home with her husband after leaving Oregon in 2002. She studied accounting at Portland Community College and University of Phoenix before joining Tower Financial Partners. Maintaining our clients’ books and being our resident QuickBooks Online Pro Advisor is Debbie’s passion at Tower.

When she’s not digging into numbers she’s usually enjoying time with her six children, her dog, Buck or riding her horse, Whisper.

MacKenzie Campbell, a Colorado native, recently returned to her hometown after working in the commercial banking industry in Seattle. In her time since playing lacrosse at Adams State University, MacKenzie has discovered her passion for coaching, even running a local high school team for a few years, and is now melding her two loves; coaching and finance. She also loves operations and ensures our processes are efficient and customer-driven. She also keeps current with the IRS Annual Filing Season Program.

When she’s not working, she enjoys hiking with her dog, community involvement and a good novel.

Stuart Smith moved to Colorado in 2015 after acquiring a Bachelor’s of Arts in mass Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising from Sam Houston State University. He ensures all the moving pieces of our office work seamlessly and has a passion for writing.

He has done volunteer work for Habitat for Humanity and enjoys assembling computers and hiking with his wife.

Valerie Babers is a participant in the IRS Annual Filing Season Program. She exceeds at compiling complex tax information. Individuals and small businesses gain new perspectives based on her analysis.

Valerie is active in her church and enjoys the outdoors with her family as well as playing musical instruments. She’s currently learning the hammer dulcimer.
